Most days, the commute to and from work is a pretty standard affair; get on the bus/train, listen to some music, get to work, finish, get bus/train, listen to some music, get home. However, once in a while, something a little bit weird alters this routine. This has happened to me a few times, with two such instances standing out for being quite strange.
The first story involves organising a night out for a random woman. I was on the bus and it was pretty much empty other than me and a couple of other people, including a woman who was pretty obviously still hung-over from the previous night. About half way through the journey, this woman turns around to me and asks if I have anything for a sore throat. Unfortunately I didn't, so I asked if she had had a rough night, to which she replied 'Yeah, me and my friends went Risa'. Now this was a Friday, so she had been out on a Thursday night, and I felt obliged to give her my opinion on her choice of clubs, that being she should go almost anywhere other than Risa. She seemed pretty interested in trying out Snobs, so I told her what nights it was normally busiest, how to get there, and all the important details. After my expert advice, the woman decided to text her friends about trying out Snobs, and thanked me for the suggestion. Needless to say, I felt like some sort of night-out guru, so instead of wishing her a good time a Snobs, I told her that it was a certainty.
