One to Five is a photography project that is based around people that commute to work, school or college. The idea for this project came about when i was thinking about how i've commuted for the last 3 years for university and how this has effected my life. I wouldn't say many exciting things have happened to me personally on my travels, but I was curious to know if any fellow commuters had some stories to tell.
I wanted to know as much as possible, the good, the band and the ugly sides to commuting that those of you who don't commute regularly or at all would, witness. I went out into the public and decided to ask people that i had never met before questions about their time commuting. Some of the questions ranged from how commuting has effected their personal lives to what's the best thing that they've ever gotten out of commuting.
For those of you who may be wondering where I got the idea for the title from, well, I live in the West Midlands and you can get travel passes that allow you to travel all over a certain area and this is called zones 1-5. I thought that it would be a fitting title for my project as it is in these zones that i wanted to focus my project.
